Blizzard annonce son label d'édition et de publication, Blizzard Publishing
Comme annoncé lors d'un communiqué de presse publié au cours de la soirée d'hier, Blizzard possède désormais son propre label d'édition, dédié au développement et à la sortie des nouvelles publications de la société, mais également à la réédition de ses titres épuisés, directement ou via des partenariats mondiaux. L'un des buts principaux est de maintenir le lore ainsi que l'existence des anciens romans et mangas, tout en fournissant aussi différentes façons pour les joueurs de découvrir la richesse du monde et des personnages des différentes licences. Différents formats seront couverts, du papier à l'audio en passant par le numérique.
Les premières publications seront deux ensembles d'anciens romans (Le Dernier Gardien, Le Chef de la Rébellion et L'Ascension de la Horde) et mangas (Légendes Volume I et II). Bien que celles-ci ne concernent que l'univers Warcraft pour le moment, toutes les licences seront couvertes à l'avenir.
Le World of Warcraft Adult Coloring Book est par exemple un titre original du label, réunissant pas moins de 80 concepts arts et esquisses mettant en avant des personnages et scènes clés à travers Azeroth.
Les titres évoqués ci-dessous sont disponibles chez n'importe quel revendeur, mais également dans la boutique Blizzard Gear.
Parmi les titres à venir, Blizzard Publishing annonce également prévoir la publication d'une série d'Artbooks, en commençant avec Art of Hearthstone et Cinematic Art of StarCraft, tout en poursuivant les rééditions de romans et mangas en 2017 et au delà. D'autres détails concernant les publications et le prix selon les différentes langues de traduction seront dévoilés à une date ultérieure.
